Volunteering
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at Sims Middle School. As our kids enter Middle School, the volunteer needs shift from helping out in individual classrooms to more of a whole school focus.
The Volunteer Coordinator from PTO will share information about volunteer opportunities in our school as they arise.
Individual groups that your child may participate in (such as Band, SGA, etc.) may also ask for volunteer assistance as well. Please reach out to the individual sponsor with any additional questions.
Volunteer Orientation
At the beginning of each year, a required Volunteer Orientation will be scheduled where volunteer policies are covered. Volunteers will receive a Volunteer Handbook. Please check the calendar for the date of time of this year’s orientation.
